 In a country where beautiful landscapes and vibrant culture is one among the richest and most ancient in the world, it holds a deep sorrow of many children, orphaned and living on the streets. Although there are many enchanting aspects of the Ecuadorian people, over time the population has become impoverished, bringing the presence of disease, violence, and drug wars part of their societal norm. Within the community orphanages that exist in this region, there is still a serious prevalence of malnutrition, under 5 mortality rate, and lack of caregivers that can provide nurturing for the healthy growth and development of these children. We hope to cultivate the lives of the Ecuadorian orphans, with the healing touch and nurturing that our hands and hearts have the ability to provide.
The Liddle Kidz Foundation Global programs support children living in institutions and orphanages with necessary touch therapy to encourage healthy weight gain, nutrient absorption and appropriate development of mind, body and spirit. Infants often have failure to thrive in settings without enough caregivers to cuddle and soothe them. LKF Global works together with caregivers to provide infant massage and nurturing techniques so all babies in these settings an opportunity to thrive.
