Ms. Balcom is a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist, Certified Infant Massage Teacher, Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Reflexologist, Certified Yoga Fundamentals Teacher, and Certified MAT Pilates Instructor from Atlanta, GA.
In 2008, Ms. Balcom created and founded Evergreen Wellness, as the first all-age inclusive massage practice serving the greater Atlanta Metro area. This professional venture allowed her the opportunity to collaborate with pediatricians, healthcare professionals and hospital administrators. She also worked with St. Mary’s Hospital to develop a comprehensive pediatric massage program for infants and children receiving outpatient care, those in hospice care and young clients undergoing physical rehabilitation.
Her professional practice encompasses family-centered care which allows her the opportunity to provide additional avenues of health and wellness through teaching yoga and MAT Pilates. In her desire to provide the best care possible, Ms. Balcom conceived and trademarked the new fluid style of wellness exercise, a harmonic fusion of yoga and ballet - Yogallet.
In her free time, Ms. Balcom enjoys cooking, biking, hiking and dancing to all kinds of music!
Why do you feel you would be an asset to the Liddle Kidz Foundation volunteer team?
“I feel I would be an asset to the team because I work well with others, I am self motivated, and I like to have fun and enjoy work and activities with others. I can contribute massage skills, my positive attitude and hard work ethic to benefit all!”
Why would you like to participate in this outreach event?
“I would like to participate in this outreach event for many reasons. I identify and believe in the humanitarian goals of this outreach, and would like to be able to give of myself to those who can benefit from my massage as well. I believe that Tina has a sound operation, and I trust that the work being done will be worth while and maximize the benefits of those receiving the massage application and instruction, which motivates my desire of involvement.”
